Farm Fresh carries a good selection, you might dig some up there, or theres always Total Wine.
Than again, someone could be brewing some as we speak

Random beer fact of the day: In German, hefe = yeast and weisse = wheat. German hefes get most of their distinctive banana and/or clove flavor and aroma from the specific type of yeast they use to ferment them. The yeast in a hefeweizen is not filtered out. A kristalweizen is the same beer that has been filtered.
Thank you, please drive through.

Ian, I'd recommend starting with an American Wheat beer....Pyramid hefe, Widmer hefe, or Colonial Weat made by Alewerks in Williamsburg. You can get all of those in teh grocery store/shoppette.
Some of the German hefes take some getting used to, the American styles are fairly bland...
Although I personally hate it, have you tried Blue Moon? It is a wit bier....very mellow and a hint of (FAKE) fruit. Very popular.

Once upon a time I bought a BlueBerry Wheat beer from Trader Joe's, it was thier own branding. It was good. I really liked it if you weren't drinking it as a "Man's Beer" kinda drink.
Then I went to Farm Fresh one day and found the beer below. Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat. So I tried it. Guess what? I'd swear it's the same brewery that does the Trader Joe's Blueberry Wheat and just add's a few drops of blueberry extract to the beer, or something.
So, it's good too. It's kinda sweet, kinda wheaty. Very relaxing. I'm drinking one right now as matter of fact at, yes 10am cause it's noon somewhere, right?
You may wanna check this one out...

Ewwwww...more fake fruit extract flavored beer.
Lienenkugel's is a brewery in Wisconsin, and used to be a legit place. Now the fruit invasion is taking over. This summer they are introducing a half lemonade/half beer concoction called "Summer Shandy" or some crap like that. It pisses me off.
This beer won't be on the shelves for more than 2 months. It wont make it like the Sunset Wheat has.
I wrote to Leinie's and told them to make a beer with hops in it. :D
