This was done last year in another club I'm in. I warn the mods that this may need it's own temporary thread.
I want to make a Cafe Press 2007 calendar for DSO. Anyone will be free to purchase one, no profits, just a calendar of you and your friends.
What I ask, is that anyone interested post ONE picture on this thread. The picture can be of your rig, a pic you took, or just a wheeling pic you like, post it here at 640x480 so everyone can see. All pictures should have been taken in 2006, and you must be able to provide me a version of the pic in at least UXGA(@2 Megapixels, 1600x1200.) PM me if you're confused by what I just said.
If there are more than 12 pictures posted, I'll post up polls for the competing pix.(thus the need for a seperate thread)
Once everyone has voted, we'll have a DSO 2007 calendar that anyone can buy and hang in their cube/office/shop.

I can't help but accept them though as those are some banner moments from 2006.
Great pix of your rig, and I really love the "I'm just about to grenade my front diff" pic of Greg as well.

Well...I would have none, but I left the drivers door open. I did not think that the 3 four wheels that were trying to pull me out would get the job done. To my wonder, they did and the door was bent the wrong way. All fixed now! :bang:

You know, I got stuck on TTORA's calendar in January last year even though the calendar didn't come out until mid-Feb. Looks like I can't decorate people's walls again this year.
Oh wait, if I make the calendar, I can fit myself in anywhere... Or everywhere...
Looks like the interest is there. If you posted up a pic, please email the highest resolution version of that pic you have to hecull @ gmail.com. If you've not posted a pic, email me one anyway, you might get included if someone else can't provide a high resolution pic.
ONE, and ONLY ONE pic per truck please. You can pick your favorite, but send only one per truck. You can send me 50 pics, as long as all 50 are of DSO trucks, and there's not more than one of each truck. All pics must have been taken in 2006 unless you have something special.
The first 12 to make my inbox make the calendar as long as they are even slightly worthy.
I look forward to some emails!

hold on a second guys... i got some sweet idea. i know the pictures has to be part of last year. if this calendars going to be the whole dso club. why dont we try and get alot of people in our club to meet at one location. the reason im saying this is that we can have a huge group shot. we can take a picture from the rooftop unless someone got a nice zoomin from their camera. and suggestions? id thought it be sick.

I'm up for an all club meet and greet for a cover shot. It would be way cool to get the beach and Hampton group all in one place at one time. Anyone have a good, wide angle lense?

Yea, my GF works at the one in Hampton... So hell, there ya go, the Beach can do a photo Shoot out there and the Hampton side can do one too. :thumb: That way no-one has to drive Eleventy Billion Miles in either direction. Cause I think as many rigs as we have active this day.. That'd be a big picture.
