I know, not many people admit to buying from them, but I bought 80% of the stuff in or on my jeep from them and I have had no problems. If you order something from them do it over the phone and ask for a military discount. One time they gave me 30% . It does depend on who you talk too. I had a damaged bull bar get to me (shippers fault) but they sent me out a Warn winch accessory kit free of charge. That's a $200 value. I did more damage to it the first time I took it out on the trail. The Warn winch I bought also came with a lifetime no questions asked warranty as well. Will continue to business with them in the future.

I've bought a few parts from them, no problems.
I've used the catalog with sucess, so my only complaint about those guys is the store front.
In Cali, those places were everywhere like grocery stores. The sales crew never had anything in stock. But the most irritating thing was how they ALWAYS tried to sell you the house brand of Pro-Crap.
So no..? Okay, I can order the BFGs - but only if you REALLY want them...
Regardless of what you ordered, they always pushed the pro-comp brand and made you feel weary of what you originally were ordering.

The customer service sucks Donkey-Cocks in Hell!
I Fucking hate them :flip:
I was a loyal customer and then
they hosed me on 3 orders back to back.
Tried to get a little compensation for the hose job...
NOTHING...The guy was such a prick on the phone
I asked to speak to the supervisor.
He answered, "I am the supervisor".
So I told him what an excellent job he was doing!
I was refunded the extra charge for next day
delivery on all the orders, but that's not the point.
They shipped the wrong shit on three separate orders.
And it took another month for the credit to show on my account
Best one yet. I ordered 01 tire. It took 27 days
to get delivered. FUCKING AWESOME! :thumb:
Fuck them and the monster truck they rode in on.
I only buy locally now, so if it's fucked, they have to deal w/it.
I do have a ton of Pro Comp shit (Shocks, Tires, Lights)
but I'm done w/them.
I feel better now :thumb:

Nice rant. Im sure you feel WAY better now. You skipped some important details though. Care to tell us what it was that you ordered and what you got, and any reasons they might have given as to why you got the wrong stuff?

50/50 on my orders, but 20% ok on the service.
Ordered a set of rear sway bar bushings for the TJ, 18$, good deal right... well, I ended up with a Green Air filter for a Mercedes C280. So I called them that evening and ended up talking to someone who barely spoke any english for about 45 minutes to try and get the issue sorted out about how I ordered bushings, and got an air filter. Seriously, this guy could NOT get it through his head that I didn't want the air filter and needed bushings. Well, the exchange thing was dumb too. Before I could return the first part, the wrong part, I had to order the replacement part, and then they could begin the return process. So the guy put me on hold, and that took like 20 minutes, just to get back on the phone with me, take down my adress... which they already had... and say, ok, we are sending you a number to call, and the paperwork on the return.
I asked if he could just give me the phone number and he said no. So a week later, I got the envelope with the info. Might I mention the right bushing set came 2 days before the letter got here... anyways, so in the mean time I looked up to see what the hell the "Green Filter" was all about. Turns out the thing listed for that car for almost 80$... so needless to say, I did not complete the return and Ebay was very good to me...
Second transaction... Similar bad experience with the people. They wouldn't let me order a set of 5"-8" Skycrapper shocks because when the asked my lift manufacturer and I told them I built the arms myself they said they couldn't sell me the shocks. I was like WTf :wtf: So after convincing the guy to negate my response and just go with Rubicon Express 5.5 he sold me the shocks... Dumb business I think. I guess they think people that work on stuff like this are that big idiots and that they are the gods of 4x4... Who knows... But I would never deal with em on something super high price...

My list of screwed up orders, not in any particular order...
Order for 01 tire. A 265 Pro Comp AT in load range "D". Pro Comp discontinued this load range, and 4wheel had 02 in the warehouse. The knob-knocker in the warehouse could not find it, so just ditched the pick-ticket. Remember, I paid for two day shipping. On day 5 I call. Get the run around. On day 10 I get the story about how they can't locate the tire. On day 15 they say they located the tire. On day 20 they say it will be shipped. On day 27 it showed up. :bang:
I ordered a light kit. Pro Comp 8" 130 watt for $75. Good deal for 2 lights and wiring. The kit shows up w/2 55watt rectangular lights. They tell me that they will not send me the correct lights till they receive the return, check them in, and issue a credit. Again, paid for two day delivery. The lights showed up at 4wheelparts 5 days later, checked in. But no one had enough sense to send me the correct lights. 20 days later I get the right lights. And 42 days after my initial order I was credited back the $25 for two day shipping.
Screw them. They think they have the market locked up so they don't have to give good service. I have never received an order on time.
Now I use guys like Wayne from Alljeep.com or Rusty's, even Quadratec. But I really try to use the local shop.

Thanx for the details! That kind of story carries a lot more weight with other consumers.

WOW. So many people across the U.S. have had negative issues with them. I bought my tires through them and had no issues. Same goes for 99% of the crap I have bought form similar vendors (mostly Land Cruiser parts houses). The only issue I ever had with any one of them was a one man operation shop that made my rocker sliders.
Seems as though every vendor slips up somewhere along the line, and the customer isn't satisfied. Like a huge ass bull bar is gonna be sent back, on the customers dime. A winch accessory kit is nice compensation. Another dissatisfied customer calls and chats with a salesman having an already bad day, and gets no satisfaction. Maybe the guy slept on the couch the night before? When it boils down to it is is a case by case basis. To get satisfaction, sometimes you have to grovel a little. Sometimes it makes it worth your while. Other times Tell em you are calling the Better Business Bureau. That usually wakes them up to your way of thinking.
